General information on data processing

Personal data is any information by which you can be personally identified. Within the scope of this website, it is processed only insofar as this is necessary for providing the website, for communication, for arranging appointments or for delivering my services.

Processing takes place in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / DSGVO) and the applicable statutory data protection provisions.

SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of personal data, this website uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by "https://" and the padlock symbol in your browser's address bar.

Data collected when visiting the website (server log files)

When this website is accessed, the hosting system automatically processes technically necessary information in what are known as server log files. This includes: the page or file requested, the date and time of access, the volume of data transferred, the referrer URL, the browser used, the operating system used and the IP address.

This processing serves the technically secure and error-free provision of the website on the basis of Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data is not merged with other data sources and is deleted after a short period.

The hosting provider is Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestraße 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. The server is located in Germany. A data processing agreement is in place.

No cookies, no tracking, no external fonts

This website sets no cookies and uses no comparable technologies. For that reason, no consent banner appears either.

No analytics or tracking services are included, no map services, no videos and no advertising networks.

The fonts used – Montserrat, Alex Brush and Marck Script – are embedded into the server when the website is built and are delivered from there. No connection to Google is established.

There is no contact form. The contact options are plain links; simply visiting the website transfers no data to third parties.

Getting in touch

You can reach me via WhatsApp, Telegram, email and phone. If you contact me, the personal data you transmit is processed in order to handle your enquiry and to communicate with you.

If your enquiry is aimed at initiating or performing a contractual relationship, processing takes place on the basis of Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Otherwise, it takes place on the basis of Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

The data is deleted once your enquiry has been dealt with conclusively and no statutory retention obligations stand in the way.

WhatsApp and Telegram are third-party services (WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. and Telegram Group Inc. respectively). By clicking through, you leave this website; the data protection provisions of the respective provider then apply, and data may be processed outside the European Union. If you would prefer to avoid that, please use email or phone.

Please transmit sensitive health information via messenger services or unencrypted email only where this is necessary and expressly wished for by you.

Online appointment booking via Lemniscus

I use Lemniscus for booking appointments online. The booking button on this website links to an external calendar; the booking takes place entirely there. Nothing of it is embedded in this website.

As part of a booking, your name, contact details, appointment details and further information you transmit yourself may be processed. Depending on how you use the service further, health data may also be processed there.

Processing takes place for the purpose of arranging appointments and performing the contractual relationship on the basis of Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and – insofar as special categories of personal data are affected – in compliance with the additional requirements of Art. 9 DSGVO (Art. 9 GDPR). A data processing agreement is in place with the provider.

Online sessions via Zoom

Zoom may be used for agreed online appointments. Zoom is not integrated into this website; it is used exclusively within the scope of an agreed appointment.

When you take part, the data required for video communication is processed, in particular your name, contact details, connection data and – depending on the specific use – audio and video data. Processing serves the performance of the agreed appointment on the basis of Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

The provider is Zoom Communications, Inc., San Jose, California, USA. Zoom points out that data is processed via a worldwide network of data centres and that certain account and diagnostic data may also be stored in the USA. A data processing agreement is in place.

Health data

In the course of my work as a health consultant, information may be processed that allows conclusions to be drawn about a person's state of health. Health data belongs to the special categories of personal data within the meaning of Art. 9 DSGVO (Art. 9 GDPR) and enjoys particular protection.

Such data is not collected via this website. It arises only in the personal consultation, where it is processed exclusively on a corresponding legal basis – in particular your explicit consent pursuant to Art. 9 Abs. 2 lit. a DSGVO (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR) – treated confidentially and used only for consulting, support, organisation and documentation.

Storage period

Personal data is stored only for as long as this is necessary for the respective purpose. Where statutory retention or documentation obligations exist, the data concerned is stored for the duration of those obligations and deleted afterwards.

Your rights

Within the statutory requirements, you have the right to information about your personal data (Art. 15 DSGVO / GDPR), to the correction of inaccurate data (Art. 16), to erasure (Art. 17), to restriction of processing (Art. 18), to data portability (Art. 20) and to object to certain processing (Art. 21).

You can withdraw consent you have given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7 Abs. 3 DSGVO, Art. 7(3) GDPR). The withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out up to that point.

In addition, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 DSGVO / GDPR). The competent authority is the Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Niedersachsen, Prinzenstraße 5, 30159 Hannover.

Currency of this statement

This privacy statement will be adjusted whenever the website, the services used or the legal requirements change.
